Datsun A15 short block $50 nelson

I bought this complete running engine for its h89 head plus the ring gear that I needed as the ring gear on the a12 in my hillman imp is worn.
The crank on this engine looks good but and the bearings whilst no doubt worn (plenty of endfloat) look scratch free. Ideal base for a rebuild with a polish and new bearings.
The bores are good and have no lips. No known history other then it came from a running van that was taken off the road due to rust.
Photos of head and plugs are for reference only as to the condition when stripped.
