engine upgrade

hi, i am a new member to this group. I live in the Caribbean and own a 910 bluebird wagon. The engine that came with the car was not the original datsun engine however and as such i was getting some problems. i have undone all the changes that the previous owner had done, so that now everything is back to original specs. I heard a rumor that there is an engine that can be used in place of the original engine without having to make any changes to the chassis, engine mounts or drive shaft. Could anyone give me any information on that? thanks. I am also looking to upgrade the rear break set up to a disk brake design. Can anyone give me any advice on what i should look for? thanks.....
