I'm keen as but will depend on getting a leave pass and if there is kids sport or not.
I would really like to meet some of the Nelson / Marlborough guys and enjoy some open road cruising.
It would be really good for locals to get into this and take ownership of it, I know there are some keen guys from Christchurch to get into these parts, but they don't know the scene or where to go like the locals, so who will host us?, It would be good to get a cruise happening from Blenheim to Nelson on the Saturday, then Nelson to Blenheim on the Sunday, with Park ups in the early afternoon and cruises in both towns. What do you think?

I'm doing my best to try sus out a good meet up point for the grand 'Datsun City' arrival up here.
The problem is most of the decent carparks in richmond (first decent town on south side of nelson, for those that dont know..) have rather nasty (chassis scrapping on lowered cars) enterances... :deadhorse:
So I'm working with another fellow Datsun owner (not in the club) to sort a good spot.
close-ish to a servo and not to far into nelson so we dont have to backtrack to go for a good cruise on some nice roads.

I'll keep working on it.. don't worry!

Its a mint carpark but the guys are coming to Nelson via the lewis pass, so its the wrong side of town.
If we end up doing a cruise over Motueka ways (via some nice camber filled twistys of course) then it would mean driving back to the otherside of nelson. Really need somewhere out richy ways..

$110 for a 2 x2 selfe contained room (and they can do an extra bed for $20!)
its close to richmond and not far to towm (just like everything here lol)
and easy as to get to
