Ok the 1200 four door is ready for cert so next week fingers crossed it's done ie road legal.
Have also had cover made for fuel pump and a super sexy exhaust system flanged etc.
Lots of coin spent so big fuck you to the cert guy.
Never hear so much bullshit in my life when comes to what's safe and what's not.

good work... you will be happy when its all legit

hHope the South Canterbury Cert guy is more reasonable than these chch guys!
Will find out later this year I suppose. but think he sounds like a good bugger,
as I rang the guy up, and told him what I had done with car, and asked if he
wanted to inspect before final paint & assembly. and he said 'nah' sounds like
I have done it all good, and said should be a fun machine and looks forward
to seeing it!

Got out to kids in cars that's kids with cancer and took a few for some laps but, got a heap of seat time on my own and pushed the 1200 hard.
It a very quick car and out braked porches, infact I was blown away with how it performed tapped out down the straight with the needle no where to be seen.

Well it's been forever since I posted so a update on the 1200 is it now has a disk rear end with a new diff set up and a five speed installed. The car does well over 100mph now and infact the needle hide behind the dash now.
