Steel/Aluminium Plate for Brake conversion bracket

Post by blitzballa »

Anybody have some 15/16mm thick 4041 steel or 7075 alloy I can use for my brake conversion? Need approximately 2 pieces of size 32x190mm. Can drill myself and can cut if the piece is close enough but if I can save money not getting it lasered or water jet cut by easysteel that would be awesome!

Yeah rang little metals. Thought I would be cheeky and try my luck though haha. Not a huge deal.

I got mine laser cut through Auto bend and they mucked it up the first time by cutting the outer holes to 12mm when the cad drawing said m12.... so I had to pay for 1 and a half sets.... make sure whoever cuts them to make those outer holes smaller so you can drill and tap them!
