New Datsun 1600 repro sheetmetal

Post by denpal »

I posted some info in the Parts and services section.

The US company looks like they're doing a quality job- http://www.futofab.com/index.php?option ... Itemid=111" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Some background - http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2013/08 ... y-futofab/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Been following them for a while.

I'm still waiting for his reproduction chrome bumpers to be ready.

Those panels are actually made by an Australian company who has let futo fab be a distributor.

Muscle car parts got the molding done in taiwan, the fitment of the 510 front panels appears to be OK, but the front of the guards where they meet the valance and inner body apparently need some work when you get them (which I suppose if it had to have a bad spot that would be the best place since the majority of it won't be seen). From what I have seen the rear of the guard to seam fits well and lines up with the doors etc, plus panel lines are good.
