many thanks to clayton for the help....

we got the motor in for its first trial fit since the front cut..........my god what a fucking cunt aye....i cant think of a harder motor to get in and out...

looks like your cross member is welded in??? is that right?? if so between that and the length of the gearbox, it would be a bastard.

It doesn't have an engine Xmember. The engine mounting pads are welded to the chassis rails.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
