Kitchs 1200 Sedan (Wilbur)

Post by Kitch »

Most of you guys are familiar with my 1200 sedan (I had a build thread on http://www.datsun.co.nz" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) I restored after purchasing exactly 2 years ago

To celebrate his birthday this week, I gave him a good clean up, and brought him some new shoes (14x6), and a new chin (Mk1 Golf ABS2 piece type)...

He is going to get some tidy up work done to a few body blemishes in the next few weeks, and also an A15 I am building at the moment with side suckers and a 5 speed, and NOS Nissan guard mirrors, and front shocks overhauled

Still trying to decide if the Golf chin spoiler is JDM coolness or a fail, due to the ride height???.....

I was going to sack it out, but really want to maintain driveability for the family sunday drives, and not really bodgey the factory lines with flared / lipped guards, and besides the coupe will be in the weeds.

i really like this car and your mags too, but (in my opinion) the chin spoiler might not suit it and may look better just standard?? i like these golf spoilers too but somehow for me the mags/spoiler/car style dont completely go together. This is by no means a criticism either, as said this is an awesome little car
