This happened on the weekend:

Big thanks to taiparacer for helping me out with a starter motor to get this going.

It is running a Megasquirt 2 for fuel and timing, with the Megasquirt controlling a Pertronix dizzy (which is where it also gets signal). Found a few issues like the oil cooler has a massive leak, so a bit of work to do.

These run the early style H165 with the alloy center aye?
I wonder how strong those diffs are? Won't be long until you find out I'd say......... :burnout:

I think the 411 was alloy centre and this one (410) steel or whatever. Maybe stronger but heavier??

wicked effort Jeremy!

Trust me I know what a milestone this is...

Great to stay on track with your plan to MSII & EFI the old girl.

Congrats, you will iron out the bugs in no time, and have this tuned running / driving

Thanks kitch. Your build was a massive inspiration and mine is no where near yours! Will keep ironing out the bugs until I can send a pic of the car driving.

Yep - definitely. The setup is ready to go together, I just need to get some supercharger oil and figure out how to switch the clutch with roughly a three second delay so it turns off at idle but doesn't turn off when changing gears. But it all bolts together etc.

Also I just wanted to make sure I could get it running with the simplest setup first, so one less thing to troubleshoot.

Is the TB before or after the super charger?
IMHO,
Before the blower is best.
If you wanna run it after the blower, run a micro switch to trigger the charger once the throttle reaches the off idle position. Otheriwse you close your TB, and the pump will blow your intercooler piping off.
