260c wagon. Currently legal, but I'm trying to build an injected motor for it.
I'll do an update soon.

This weekends efforts have been cleaning up and treating surface rust on the inside of the guards and modifying the front centre support bracket to take the horns. Started cleaning up the inside of the nosecone but it’s a bit worse than I initially thought and ran out of energy for itImage

Need to get some injector seals sorted for this, outfit I got the injectors from reckon they don’t do them-even though their trademe listings show them. Be keen to get them online if anyone has a recommendation

Guess this kit https://www.trademe.co.nz/trade-me-moto ... 699180.htm Should give me the seals, ex aus though.

I'm pretty sure NZEFI would be able to sell you a set of injector seals mate.

NZEFI - we keep 6 in stock, if you need more we have to order them from overseas, will take a couple of weeks.
Seems about par for the course on this thing

Put a battery in this today and it didn’t explode into a plume of smoke, weird!

Have finished off de-rusting the inside of the front panel for this and given it and the front guards a soaking of fisholene, rotating a few times to let it get into the cracks

Wired in the new injector plugs

Replaced hoses on the fuel rails, got the injector hoses trimmed so everything fits
Image

Gave things a test fit, still waiting on two sets of injector seals to turn up.

Started thinking about how I can hid all this garbage with an engine cover.

Which is going to be tricky. Mark 1 is heading for the bin as it’s not going to clear some idle valves and the bonnet. But still I think it’s doable and will clean up the engine bay heaps

Haven’t done too much on this lately. Injector seals turned up so they are all in and screwed down. Water pump has been rebuilt and is back in. Next up I think will be sorting out coolant hoses and pressure test fuel lines for leaks. Might actually run again in a month or so.
