Got the head on match ported manifold fitted spray bar sump and timing gear on . Now the fun bit slap the HX40 and wastgate on the side.

Just fitted turbo and carbs so I could work out where to weld the wastgate exit pipe.

What method do you use to weld those together?

Its all stainless so I will tig it.

They make stainless exhaust housings now? Keen to see how this ends up looking, it's getting one of those SK plenums right?

HKS dual plane plenum and OER 48 factory blow through carbs from back in the day.

Good to see another side draft turbo setup happening. Any idea on the main differences between the carbs?
