Probably shouldnt have but couldnt resist, took her for a quick drive around the block. Holy shit is all i can say!!!!!!!! first gear anything over 2500rpm and it just lights the tyres up, i never got it over half throttle either. So it did lag a little, thinking it has a vacuum leak. Its going in for a full tune in 2 weeks so i need to get it ready by them. I decided on the tune before cert as im not confident with the cooling system so Harman Brothers racing can sort that out first. My big concern for cert at the moment is ground clearance, my exhaust is about 3inchs off the ground

This is turning into a headache. so im remaking the exhaust to get 1-2inchs more clearance then ran out of welding wire so need to get more. while welding it i found my rear calipers are leaking so now i have to rebuild them again which would explain why the brakes are so spongy. all this by friday night as im going away this weekend then its off for a tune monday. oh well upwards and onwards

Well today was great. got the car into the dyno today. Had a couple of issues, one was a thermostat that was opening too late but that was easily swapped. Second was a vacuum leak we had been chasing for a few weeks. turned out to be the idle air control valve wasnt even from an ls1 so no idea where that came from so once that was swapped out she made some good power runs.

This thing is a handfull to drive but plenty of traction with a full tank of gas. Took it for a sneak around the block to see if my speedo is finally working. it works but reads way out so now i have to calibrate it. All that was needed to get the nissan speedo to work was a capacitor and a resistor and the best thing is it can be calibrated in the ecu.
