my utes, a coupe....and a little sedan waits

Post by grant76 »

thought i'd re-do my thread for my moneypits

1989 Jap Import B120 Sunny ute-shortbed:
A15
extractors
1.75" exhaust
5 speed gearbox
120y struts with nissan s13 brake conversion
electronic distributor conversion (pertronix)

Image

to come:
lower 2" all round and then re-certify (didn't think that through very well!!)

1983 GB120 NZ Long-bed ute:
a12
5 speed
electronic distributor(not sure what its out of)
1 owner from new before me, full service history etc

Image

to come:
new exhaust/extractors
lower
a15 when a12 gets sad/smokey/too f##kn slow
gx/facelift bonnet
120y struts with s13 brake conversion
certify ($$$$ )

the silver one was brought to replace this 1989 sunny ute with 1200sss engine, 5 speed, sunny struts, lowered, hayashi street fins, lowered etc that i sold and regretted from about 10 seconds after i handed over the keys (this is what it looked like when i got it). My advice, never sell because you will regret it later, still have no idea my reasoning behind sale!!!!

couldn't wait for the engine to die so now has an a15 and 5 speed, the s13 brakes are in, lowered it a couple of inches and new wheels. All certed and warranted a couple of weeks ago, so i'm legal!! next part is the bodywork (repaint tray and fibreglass gx bonnet) which will be in a month or 2 when the weather warms up!!
