Those wheels look like they take shank nuts not standard wheel nuts.

You may need to buy some they look like this,

not like standard nuts

That means the stud length is fine as the wheel nuts fit inside the hole etc. you may need some bolt on spacers to combat the calliper issue

Na, they don't need the shank type. They have a darker colour metal that the normal nuts seat into and just look like the shank type in the photo.

I read through Beavers 120Y build. My brakes are different to his also but I was able to "adapt" my calliper to suit also. One side done and dusted, alloys on. Food, recharge and back to the drivers side after lunch.

All done. :D

I have guard rub on the right back, so I'll do some rolling, and I need to put the 195/60 on the back, rather that the 195/65... It's only a small difference, but it'll look a little better.

Hey thanks! Not bad for $200 aye! :D

I've just been down at work and swapped over to 185/60 on the front, and 195/60 on the rear. Gives me just a little more clearance and I had zero guard rub on the way home just now.

Crap bad light photo, but I think it looks just a little better.

I'm feeling almost ready for Labour weekend, although might have to chuck some box speakers behind the front seats and bang in a stereo under a seat.

So after having been using the 120 as a daily, I have noticed that the struts are bottoming out when entering/exiting driveways, or when tackling speed bumps at anything more than a crawl. I have some stiffer springs but they may be just short enough not to be captive, and being stiffer I can expect less low also.

So decisions need to be made. I have a wheel off, and can't decide weather to go for broke tomorrow after work and change the springs, and hope I don't need to change back or just leave it for the week end and watch out for nasty bumps...

Still haven't got a stereo in it either, but I now own a Skyline which distracted me from pressing 120y refinements over the last week end.

I got exactly the same problem in the 310
Am going to try thicker oil in shox, but that will have to wait till after this weekend,
as I dont have time + I am sick of pulling out and stripping the struts.
My bump stops were buggered and I threw them in the bin - which I am living to regret

I just have to avoid potholes, and any bumps in road bigger thgan 20mm!! ;)

I'm thinking I'll just put up with it too. It's too late in the game to be changing stuff up. I'm still confident in what I have, but in a perfect world, it could be better.

Pretty much. Going to check the oil once it cools down outside, have a quick clean of the wheels, explore the headunit and box speaker install idea for some reasonable sound without cutting holes in stuff, and yeah.

I sort of won't bother mentioning that the car wouldn't start tonight when leaving work. I'll go tip some petrol into it later... might have been running it a little too low.
