Hey all,

If anyone has any of the following up for grabs, do let us know:

- Factory 240Z drivers seat (passenger as well if matching)
- Factory 240Z passenger seat belt
- Factory 240Z passenger window winder
- 240Z drivers door exterior window trim (the chrome/stainless strip where the window winds down)
- 240Z rear pillar and bonnet badge(s)

If I have no luck will look at NOS options instead, but hoping to exhaust all NZ based options first! :D

Definitely ask on the Z Club website (http://www.zclub.org.nz), there's a few guys on there that have a lot of parts squirreled away.

I registered last year but didn't get my account activated, so didn't bother cause I didn't have a Z at the time. I have re-registered and awaiting approval :)

[EDIT]

Just saw this on the forum (might explain why I hadn't heard from anyone haha):

Hi everyone,

There has recently been a problem with outbound email from this server, meaning a lot of mail generated by this forum has not been being delivered.

This includes notifications (such as PM's) and registration emails.

If you have been trying to register but have not received the confirmation email, please email me at webmaster@zclub.org.nz.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey all,

Small update. Have recently purchased a few missing bits for the Z. Currently on the way are:

- OEM 280Z window cranks/winders (pair - my passenger one was missing...) [NEW]
- OEM 240Z hood/bonnet badge (mine was missing...) [NEW]
- OEM 240Z metal rear pillar/quarter badges (pair - my passenger side one was missing...) [NEW]
- OEM 1972 240Z fuel filler hose (for those that aren't aware, these differ between years/models - mine had an annoying 1 cm split/slit) [NEW]

I purchased these all through a Nissan dealer in the US via eBay for a pretty reasonable price (PM if you want to know the specifics). Postage was reasonable too (to Sydney, will pack in my suitcase when I'm heading to Christchurch later this month). I have also purchased some second hand seats and belts through 'Sam Hoff Nikoloff' via the Facebook page (not sure if he is a member on the forum, but if so, thanks!). Will hopefully get a chance to get the seats recovered when back in town. I still need to source a replacement race seat (if I continue down this path) however the factory seats are a fall back option. Open to any suggestions on decent seat/door card upholstery 'specialists' (names and numbers).

Well, that's it for now. Looking forward to getting back and doing some work on the old girl prior to track day. Still undecided on whether I should take on Akaroa cruise or the 1200, although depending on how comfortable the seat(s) I decide to install are (and provided she doesn't break down on the track), we'll see :) FYI, I will have an unbranded 'small' race seat up for grabs if anyone is keen, maybe even a harness... :D

Regards,

Nick/Braasy

Cheers Chris. One of these days I'll have it as pristine as your 1600! :D

I should probably do an update at some stage. Perhaps after I'm back in October :)

P.S. Thanks for spelling my last name/nickname right ;)
