I was just looking at the pic of the side of your wagon, its exactly the same as my short wheel base ute if you picture the wagon without the rear glass/roof area from the bottom of the window cill upwards. Weird ive never noticed that before.
Those rims are sooo fricken sweet man, shit id love to have a set like that. Your wagons already got a red pinstripe to match the centers, the red looks surprisingly good with the mustard, hope you stick with it.
Keep up the good work

Cheers guys!

Hey anybody gots any advice on how to remove the rear quarter and tail gate windows with out butchering them? Just hacked the front one out (came out ok) knowing that it wouldnt be overly hard to find a replacement. However not so keen to just hack at the rears..
Any advice would be grand!

pretty sure you can still get all the wagon window rubbers no problem (scotts old auto rubber or ebay) so just cut the window rubber to get the window out?
You cant buy wagon rear quarters as far as im aware. Possibly buy new ute rear quarters from nissan and use part of them.
So i wouldnt cut up the rear quarters till you either have suitable replacements or someone who is able to repair it

Carefully work them out from a corner with a couple of blade screwdrivers. From the inside, put screw driver up under rubber and over the steel lip. Put another screwdriver a few inches away from the first and do the same again. Should start to peel and push outward.

Then once its part way out pull the glass from the rubber and finally the rubber from the car.

Cheers Josh, worked a treat!

Quite happy that I didnt
A: blow quarter windows into 10,000 pieces
B: butcher the jesus out of the rubbers

Success!!

A little bit of lowkey Sunday action to get the juices flowing today..

From this

To this

And then on to a little bit of this

Plan is to get rear quarters and roof paint striped and send in for media blasting of some description in the next few weeks. Was planning on going the full deal with dip stripping but that shit is a little to rich for me and am worried about loosing primer in spots that I wont be able to get back at.

All up I'm fairly happy with the rear quarter, far less rust than I was expecting but there was a hell of alot more bog than I thought I'd be coming across.. As you can see some body has do a right stella job in the past with the wheel arch, and these a few decent dents that were just filled with bog.. But hey, all up it aint to bad..

Anyhow, that's all for today!

And now im out of money! all is good tho, will be getting back on top of the wag in the next few months.
Have also picked up a smallport 4age for it, complete with uncut loom (bonus!) and some 20v i.t.b's..

However if anybody has a 16v 4age sump and oil pick up laying around that they have no use for let me know, this one seems to be lacking there!
