Slowly getting things done,

Oil cooler lines made up and test fitted, Have radiator getting welded up then can make up the hoses for that. Once that is done I can pull the engine out for a rebuild and get the engine bay tided up, get all the non needed bits cut off and holes welded/filled up

Gosh that sits in there nicely!
What sort of weight difference is there between the 13B and the A12 and I guess the Mazda gearbox would be substantially heavier?
Cheers

The rotary setup would be around 100kg at a guess with engine and box? The box is heavier than the datsun box but not too much (one person can still lift it) it does sit in there nice and snug only thing to watch is the steering box on the exhaust.

Rotarys are quite heavy for their size. A standard 12a is around 160kg with manifolds etc. got to remember they have a lot of cast steel in them.

Love the car btw. Wheels suit it perfectly

yeah I had read somewhere that the 13B's were around the 170kg mark with box. a12 and box must be around 70kg?

Good to know re the steering box. Was going to sell it but couldn't bring myself to do it.

Cheers mitey1200 have always been a fan of your coupe
