Looking pretty good there Brocky, did you say that you were the New Zealand Maddat agent, cause it sure looks like you could start your own shop with those parts, well done.

Is it going to be ready for the Labour weekend cruise?

All credit to you chap you are making an awesome job, cant wait to see it out on the U drive track.

Hey guys bit of an update - nearly ready to roll - yeeeehaaaaa.
needs wiring up at the auto sparkys and a driveshaft - and a few other litle bits a bobs
ill let the picks do the talking - also fixed the sway bar prob by unbolting the front brackets redrilling the 5mm further forward then bolted back up - clears everything now but about 15-20mm at the sump.

if your wondering what clutch master cylinder i used, dad found a MK1 cortina one that has same bolt spacing but as you can see much shorter than nissan one - there was a hilus one that was another 20mm shorter (same stroke length) as half of it would be inside the cabin but it was a different bolt spacing ( thanks to pick a part and dad for going down and getting a few to try 1st)
Using the original fuel line as the return and making up new one from the vl pump to engine - basically going to unscrew drain bung from bottom and screw in big hose fitting a wala new outlet. just means that when it runs outa gas its def outa gas.

Wiring - Done - runs really good - Thanks to Auto Electrix Services (AES) Hastings.
Exhaust - Done - sounds mean old school - Thanks to Stitchbury Exhausts Hastings.
Driveshaft - Done - Thanks to Quality Auto Machinists Hastings.
Cert - Done - Thanks to Huxtable Motors Napier - passed first time through.

Big thanks to Craig (HSEPWR) for the loan of the car trailer to get it to napier and back and also to Brendan (mint16) for doing the honours of taking it to and from the cert guys,

But biggest ups goes to Dad as it would hav got half as far without all his help over the last 4 months soley on this car.

ive driven it for about 200kms goes really well - trying not to destroy the diff at the mo - just got to weed out thel ittle probs that always go with engine transplants

Taupo here we come.

CA conversion all finished - decides to start using this forum again to get some life back into it haha.
All going good so far no broken diffs etc - gearbox a bit grumbly but wat to do expect for $500 - Engine, Loom, Computer, Gearbox and D/S Yoke.

Next thing on the list is Door cards and interior - heres a sneek preview - big help from lisa on the sewing machine.
