Rear 1/4s taking shape :) but we've had a set back with the kp rack and pinion set up can't get my head around y it's given less lock than the original box so back to the drawing board with that :/ ImageImageImage

Can you do what the drifters do and use spacers to get extra lock?

I was talking to a certifier last year about rack and pinion conversions. He retold a story someone told him that it's often not an improvement due to the length of the steering knuckles on a reciprocating ball car, vs rack and pinion car. I know the drift crowd love to cut and shut their steering knuckles to gain more lock. That's one thing on a race car. But it breaks the second commandment on a road car. "Thou shalt not make a weld to any part which is forged where that part is concerned with steering or suspending that vehicle" (or some shit like that )

Yeah man i wasn't that keen to convert but since we've moved engine back the original wasn't going to fit anyway.

Hey man. Hit up mike bamber on the shellsport Facebook page. He made a mould for a boot spoiler like that for my car.
