Haha yeah. The odd blown motor here and there isn't going to worry me too much though. I'll probably keep it at 9pound for usual driving, and crank it up to 18 if I want to cut loose or I'm at the drags or something!

I'm sick of this thing handling like crap so I'm getting into some handling mods.
I took out the castor arms and machined 600 thou further down the thread so the arms give a bit more castor. Should be at around 4 degrees now.
Got some camber adjustable strut tops. Chucked em in today, there from Toyshop Engineering. Good quality bits! I'll get a wheel alignment with about 2.5 degrees camber and I've got the toe setup from the datsun 1200 competition manual but I cant remember it off the top of my head.
Made a rear swaybar too. I just copied the design from the 1200 competition manual. Hopefully it'll cut down all the understeer I've got. It'll probably make the biggest difference of all the things I'm doing.
And I've got a mate from work machining me up some steel bushes to go in the front hanger chassis mount for the leafs.

I might look into making a front strut brace sometime too. I don't want to pay 300 for a cusco one haha.

Anyone else know of any good handling mods?

I'll chuck up some photo's once its stopped raining.

Yo.

Rubbed up a wee pole a while ago... Finally fixed the dent and painted it last week.

Got a dude down the road to fix the dent as I have no garage at the moment. And it would be a pig doing cheese work ect.

Sprayed it with some mixed up spray paint on the weekend. I was pretty stoked with how good the colour match was.
