The Current project involves an improvement on the earlier Ver 1 design (front mount) which was only suitable for the wider Vanette diff. Ver 2 (rear mount) as shown below is better suited to run closer to the chassis rail. The new Ver 2 adapters were made with help from Bart and involved rotating the design about 75 degrees with a further strengthening mod to the external dimensions. The handbrake cable design is very different between the 2 Versions. Pictures to follow.

Parts and part numbers required for this conversion:

Adapter Brackets and Axle Plates: Custom
Calipers: U13 Bluebird (Rears)
Rotors: P11 Primera (Rears) TRW DF2592s
Cables: Shortened U13 Cables and Balance Bar
Rear Wheel Bearing Kit: KIT2848(NR002), bearing 30207(6306BLLU/32C4), collar RW08R(43255-H1000), seal 41X56X7
Brake Hoses: Custom 220mm long
Bundy Tubing: Custom 730mm and 280mm long
Hose Mounts: Extracted from Subaru Front Struts
Brake Clips: Subaru 25546 GA400
Disc Pads: DB1247
Diff Pinion Seal 35X64X13

Damon and I have learned a great deal through the process of developing this set up. There are millions of onforseen variables which can render bits non operational.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

I wish I had room to run my calipers round that position to give me a bit more clearance to the chassis rail but with the different handbrake mount of the s13 and the sedan having the rear shocks mounted vertical right off the back of the spring perch it just wasn't going to happen.

When you get a chance could you post a few pics up of the handbrake setup and handbrake lever mods we were talking about?
