yea theyr mint.thanks for the use of your workshop wal.very much appriecated.

i did a lot of research into the four link and i can see no problem with it,most of them are welded to the diff head but on top.i found a few other examples of them being welded underneath,in all sorts of aplications 4wd to race cars.i did it because i couldnt fit them on top and get the car as low as i wanted and couldnt find a reason it would destroy my geometry.

it was all go last week on the tubs but this week its been abit slow at home so ive been busy at work on my secret weapons.ITBS.im making the pattern at the moment then ill cast 8 at work before machining them.after chatting to a few clued up people ive decided to make the butterflys 43mm with a 5deg shut angle,im going to run top feed injectors insted of the ugly factory side feed ones.heres a few pics of work so far,ive been trying to tig weld it myself so far and that hasnt gone to well but it has to be dressed back anyway so it doesnt matter to much.i have a bit more filling to do then ill wire cut it in half and smooth off the inside with bog.then ive got a pattern to cast off.after that ill machine the bores, bearing bosses and the flanges.the big circle flange will be alot diffrent in the end but it needs to be like that at the moment for casting.after all that its just a matter of making trumpets and listening to that intake roar!!
