Awesome, thanx for the pics so I could live the Akaroa cruise vicariously this year. Gutted to miss it, but on the other hand, I am still married. Was great to see Kitch's 120Y of awesomeness on the road up, but to be fair I was really sad travelling south and back up, Kitch was the only Datsun on Saturday and a tidy white 1200 in Oamaru and a Yellow 310 just out of Christchurch was it for Monday.
I saw heaps of Cortinas and Vauxhalls on the road so they must have been making the Pilgrimage to a Christchurch event, but not so many Datsuns. It was great having the North Islanders down and those that did make it from around the South, maybe they all were up for Friday night and that was why I missed them :P
Looks like I missed a good one, well done guys.

Thanks to the committee and everyone else that made this years cruise, track day, and vintage car viewing possible. It was great to be able to come back and really enjoy a well put together weekend for all, and am really glad the weather held out too! Ruth (mrsbraasy) and I had a real ball. Was great to catch up with all the new and old faces, have a yarn, and great to finally take part in my own Datsun! WOOT!!

Till next year...

Had a great day out. Ate one tyre on the trip but it was worth the sacrifice. Great weather and dogs were so shattered they didnt even mind having a bath on Monday :dance2: Cheers to everyone who made things possible
