Hey team, looks like I'm not going to get out of Hamilton tomorrow for this.
Bit of a bummer but I've got way too much to sort out before the end of this weekend.

Rob - I still owe you a beer dude, I haven't forgotten!

Wow what a fantastic weekend. A huge thank you to all the sponsors
Repco Hastings
Swan Insurance
Taupo Hobbies
Datsport
It was fun to be able to hand out prizes at the end of the day. A huge thank you to Rob and Carmen and Morgan and Sarah for all the work that went into orgainising the day.
The peoples choice this year was very close so many amazing cars from all over the North Island but a huge congrates to Ronnie with Panesh coming in second and Cole coming in 3rd a big year for the 180Bs well done on a great display of wonderful cars. Also a very popular car was the 260Z.
Would like to acknowledge Bruce and Sandra Pike who have brought thier Yellow 1200 coupe to every single met over the last ten years
And then there was me having a bit of a blonde moment and not putting my petrol cap on properly so I had petrol leaking out as I turned corners apparently that needs acknowledgment
There will be lots of photos to follow
Also thank you to everyone who came and made the day so great
Cheers
Alice

Yeah great weekend, thanks so much to the generous sponsors for the prizes, thanks to the club for shouting us breakfast today.
Really enjoyed the route this year, Horopito was good for a look round, Chateau Tongariro was an awesome place to stop, roads were good and not too busy. Motel was the ideal choice, was good having almost everyone in the same place.
Congratulations to the peoples choice winners, and to everyone who made the effort to turn up, especially those who travelled long distances to attend. Well done Rob for rounding up just about every 180B coupe in NZ!! as Alice said it definitely was the year of the 180Bs, even outnumbered the 1600s! And a lot of cars rocking the twin sidies this year which is also cool to see.
Thanks Mohit for the drive of your sweet 610 sedan, definitely feels like a nice cruiser.
See you all at the next one!

A big thank you to all you guys that organised such a fantastic event by donating your time and efforts and to all the sponsors for their generous donations. Awesome to catch up with so many people and to meet some new ones. I certainly regretted staying where I did but had a blast with the group all day Sunday. Those photos make me want to do it all again. It was my turn to experience running problems on the way home but went away on their own. Cheers everyone !
