Update to the homepage?

the way the website is setup is......
there is a template file....which you change the look of the buttons, header/footer e.t.c.
then there is all the *.html files.
these files reference the template file and only have a certain section of the file "editable", so that all of the pages look the same when you switch between them.....and you dont have to update every single page if you make a change you want on each page.

I think the site could probably do with a little bit of a re-design anyway.......
I like the japanese text....but dont really think it looks relevant anymore.

just noticed the pic of all the cars on the water front in akaroa the "school" sign has been altered to "old school" fits in really well..
