For sale section.

Post by torqued »

Like other sites for sale section. I reckon that to sell something you must have name, location contact number price and a photo
This makes things easier for the buyer

I think the location, e.t.c. is a great idea.

Not sure about deleting as soon as sold, a month or 2 weeks later would be good so members can see what happened, if it all sold, what it went for perhaps, even who it went to if there was a collection of stuff, not sure why the info might be needed but would be a shame to lose information too quickly. I do see the need to keep the section tidy and have ads removed. Although archive stuff can be interesting too.

Just lock the topics once sold. Having historical data on what price things sell for or are advertised are always handy.
