email notification?

just wandering if any one else is getting any email notifications on threads anymore?

its not a huge deal, but just seeing if im not the only one

i dont think ive ever had one in my short time here the only email notification i get is when i get pm

I dont know if many people even use that feature dylan.....
what it is (for those that dont know), is you can "subscribe" or "watch" a topic, and whenever a reply is posted to that thread, it will email you.

when did it stop for you?

a while ago actually. i used to get them for every thread i posted in. was good way to see if there were new posts up while i was checking my email. not to worry, as now i dont have lots of post notifications in my inbox

the amount of post whoring you do dylan, (posting in every thread on the site) your inbox would fill up in a few days!

less than a few days if im honest. it was just a bit helpful in knowing if something new was posted

I'll look into it if you want.....but its only a feature that youd use if you hardly ever came on here, and wanted to know if a topic you posted in of interest had any reply's......you come on here every day anyway lol

or you could just check the 'Notify me when a reply is posted' box in the options under the message body. that is what I do and I get emails when new things posted in thread

ive had that checked since i started, and on all the other forums i frequent.
