411 Bluebird ball-joints and tie-rods

Post by Waimana »

Kia ora people

Have been offered a 1968 411 Bluebird but it needs ball-joints and tie-rods replaced to get legal (as well as the rust sorting)

Does anyone have the ball-joints and tie-rods available or know a source for them here or overseas?

Cheers

If you cant get any - try these guys in chch if you can wait a week etc to have your ones rebuilt

http://hbiengineering.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

PS - I work for BNT and if i couldn't find any i would exhaust all suppliers not just call stocks - sometimes having the actual part helps for matching up.

I had a quick look today for you and we have tie rods, both inner and outer listed - but no ball joints, will have another look tomorrow with the guys through all our 100 year old books lol

Hope this helps

No luck at repco, bnt or stocks

Thanks for the hbi engineering tip

found these for sale on ebay but unsure of the quality: http://www.ebay.com/itm/291421763209?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any thoughts?
