Re: CRAIGS 510 1600
Craig I still run an Airtek in my 510 (L18 bored and stroked to 2 litre with 45 webers). At Manfield and on the dyno all seemed ok. I then found one hillclimb with a long uphill full throttle section was catching it out. I found by upgrading the fuel line that it is now ok. To test it I fitted a pr...

LSD GEAR OIL, what is the best?
Just changed the diff in my 1600 and am wanting to know peoples thoughts on the best oil to run in a r160 viscous LSD. I keep reading not to use a oil that had additives in it ie friction modifiers etc as it will increase the slipperiness of the oil which in my eyes would make the diff not hook up a...

Re: R30 turbo gearbox leaking
It was kinked to the point I couldn't blow my air gun through out of the compressor. Shit if the bre cars run a catch can they must be prone for it maybe. I replaced the rear seal and a few others tonight and slapped it back in the car so fingers crossed.

Re: R30 turbo gearbox leaking
Ripped the box out tonight as i couldn't really pinpoint the spot as oil was everywhere so I ripped it out. I found the breather pipe was kinked over not letting the box breath so wondering if it was pressurising and forcing it either oil tail seal or where the shifter is.

R30 turbo gearbox leaking
I have a r30 turbo 5 speed in my 1600 and last time I took it too the track it pissed oil everywhere under my car. I'm no guru on these boxes but was thinking it either has a buggered tail seal or is coming out where the shifter is but wanted to know are these boxes prone for it and do they need a b...
