L18 misfire problem

Hi everyone. I currently have a problem in that for probably the last 20km of running my L18 (twin SU copies, late style) has a constant misfire on all but a light load when running (in the garage/ driving on the flats), and of course seems to be getting worse. I have currently checked that all the ...

Re: WTB: Ignition and key

Thanks for that DATY12. Looks like it will stick too far out of the column surround and the steering is too large. If there nothing out there closer I might just have to get an ignition then drill out the pins holding the tumblers and swap them over.

Re: WTB: Ignition and key

R3spct, Yeah I went for a general look and got carried away - now just got to fix all the little things that are missing. Those locks look sweet, but at the moment I'm trying to get it going on a budget. tlssuny - that would be great thanks, the screw holds the plug to the casing, but if all else is...

WTB: Ignition and key

Hi I'm after an ignition and key for a Datsun Cherry. Looking on line it seems that one from a B210, B310, 620, 720, N10 pulsar or Sunny from the late 70's to mid 80's might fit. The one that I have (don't know if its original or not) has Off/Acc/On/Start, 5 plug connectors to the wiring harness (on...

Datsun F10 (Cherry) Engine bay / workshop manual

Hi everyone, Am currently in possession of a F120A that has had the wiring and hoses in the engine bay cut/ slashed/ removed like Freddy loose with a jigsaw. So I was wondering if anyone has any radiator/fuel pipes, a workshop manual to figure it all out, or if any A12 loom would/ could work as a re...

Re: DJZ's other other 2 seater 280ZX

To join the throttles what about two plates and an adjustable bolt like they use on the Toyota quads? That should give the adjustability needed and can be bolted onto the stubs you have. Spacing, rotation clearance and bolt angle will be different but should be able to work - not as nice looking as ...

Re: NZ Datsun Nationals October 2015 (North Island) UPDATED

Can I put myself down as a possible? Will only be for Sunday though and I got to get a wof. Be interested in meeting up with anyone coming down from Hamilton/ Auckland. If I can confirm then there'll be a free seat too.
