Re: 910 bluebird info

Apparently in 1984 NZ and I assume Japan moved to the similar looking front wheel drive U11 but Australia made 910's with the Ca20 motor from 84 to 86. Something I didn't know.

Re: 910 bluebird info

The NZ new ones where L20b with IRS and L16 and wagons where live rear end. A few imported NZ new 2 door sss coupes where L18 most imports most being Z18 Z18et or Z20. As far a I know the L20b indicates a 4 cylinder and a L20 is a six. I have never seen a 910 with a C20 motor The NZ L20 cars had a R...

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions

This is the most amazing load of crap I've ever read, Maldat at his best? Looks like a stubby R30 box to me. http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=998464679 What amazes me are the number of listings wanting good money but not doing much to confirm the details or quality of what is for sale. In this ca...

Re: Down in the dumps about your build? READ THIS

Great motivation, I saw your questions/prods last night and smiled. Yes I will be working on 2 x 1600 this weekend. Need to sort out a niggly issue with my sss road car. Either a sad needle valve in one su "type" carb or a float full of petrol and start a gearbox rebuild for the race car. ...

Re: Electric Fan

Dave
With my 1600 I had the same problem with the water pump. I finished up using two smaller fans in front of the radiator.
I will give you a call soon. Cheers Andrew

Re: IS THIS REAL?????

Bart is right as I understand it the theory is the same as sacrificial anodes used in marine circles. There are several companies in NZ marketing similar products. I have no proof of how good or otherwise but if I had to leave my toys outside I would be investigating as I would rather spend money pr...

The Dime Quarterly

Apologies if this has been covered before. I used to follow this American 1600 site and thought seriously about subscribing to be able to read their magazine but the postage to NZ made it rather expensive. I now find all 49 back issues can be downloaded for free. A huge amount of great 1600 reading....
