Hey team, looks like I'm not going to get out of Hamilton tomorrow for this.
Bit of a bummer but I've got way too much to sort out before the end of this weekend.
Rob - I still owe you a beer dude, I haven't forgotten!

L18 lower breather hose.
Hi team, I'm after the hose that goes from the crankcase breather on the side of the block under the exhaust manifold to the PCV on the intake manifold. The one on the L18 in my wagon is in pieces :( You can see the stub of it in this photo and the PCV above it. 20151007_175015.jpg Thanks Michael

Re: SU Carb Nozzle
Oh, righto. That would be easy to fix if it is the case. Although surely the nozzle sleeve shouldn't have that massive groove in it? Why does a higher float level cause fuel to come out of the nozzle assembly? I would have thought that the nozzle assembly would need to be fuel-tight regardless of th...

Re: SU Carb Nozzle
Answering my own question it looks like it should come out, but I'm not exactly sure how.
Appears to be secured from the side in the small hole but I can't see a head or anything to undo... Very curious. Anyone know how to get the nozzle sleeve out?

Re: SU Carb Nozzle
Think I may have found the culprit: 20150926_134740.jpg The bronze piece that the nozzle slips inside has what looks like a groove or something in it. I guess that could cause the fuel to leak out and off the end of the nozzle. Anyone know if that bronze bit is replaceable? Or does that render the e...

Re: Michael's 610 Wagon
Nah I had the springs done at Archers in Rotorua.
I'm based in Hamilton and yeah they are difficult to get bits for. At least the front shares bits with the sedan.

Re: Michael's 610 Wagon
I've seen a handful on TradeMe, plus I've heard about one out on the East Coast that some guys are apparently turning into a show car.
There was also one down in the South Island that had a 2L and 5 speed in it, perhaps that is the one that you have? I thought it was black though...obviously not.
