I have heard of guys using this sort of setup having to tack weld the offset washers in place to stop them from moving with any hard driving.160jsss wrote:I would worry that they would move round with hard driving ?

Re: 69 510 Ground Up Rebuild
Just a wee update on what I have gotten done over the past few days; This is how I put the engine and box in by lowering the chassis over the engine & box while I have the engine & box set up on a frame with castors so that I can move it around. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff14/acustx...

From what you have described I don't think that you are asking to much. It sounds like the painter is just making excuses for his crappy paint job. I think that he should repair the paint job (apart from your "slips") for nothing.

Re: 69 510 Ground Up Rebuild
Congrats on your engagement Pal!! You gonna have other Datsuns there on your big day? 1600 is looking awesome as always! 8-) Thanks Brendan. Probably won't have any other Datsuns there as it is just going to be a fairly small family affair and their are no other Datsuns in the family. How's life in...

Re: 69 510 Ground Up Rebuild
Hey guy's, my most humble appologies for being so slack in updating the thread on how progress is going. My only excuse is that I have had limited time and $$ to spend on the Datto in the past few months as I have been busy planning a wedding for April. Unfortunately the Datsun will not be ready for...

Re: gingofthesouth's 510
Are you not running a brake bias valve with the FJ? Also I didn't think you could run your rear brake line down the drive shaft tunnel if you have increased your power output by x amount, I.e putting the FJ in? It's just something I read in the low volume vehicle certification guide. Just food for t...
