Re: R200 diff housing wanted to borrow

Assuming you mean the longnose variety, I've got a crusty as one with the non-finned cover that you can borrow for like, 3 months when I come down next week, just let me know by tomorrow night if you want me to bring it with my other stuff, cheers.

Re: wicked barn fiind!

What does this grandma look like? Is she open minded? Don't look at me like that, I'm sure some of you would too for this thing.

Nah that's a steering box setup same style as what I've got, thanks anyway, I'll be keenly watching to see how your S13 crossmember transplant goes, been thinking about something similar but it sure ain't no walk in the park from what I've seen.

Re: My '72 1600 SSS

It does for now, but in about a week or two I'll be in Christchurch, so that's all you get for now. When I finish work down south I should be able to...

Re: My '72 1600 SSS

Fnally, here a few pics of the original fake SSS during disassembly, about 2-3 years ago (I forget at my advanced age). Every removable panel off this car is going on to the other one.

That's about all I've got for now.

Re: My '72 1600 SSS

Engine painting.... took like, a whole can of Brakleen to do each side of the engine, with a lot of wire brush action too. Then I pulled the sump off and cleaned all the garbage out while it was on the engine crane, replaced the red silicon goo with an actual gasket, and did all the bolts up properl...
