Re: BProjects order - Combined shipping
Prob only going to work for ya if there are others in Welly mate, re-postage will prob be half of postage again... Postage only about $40 direct to door in my experience and super fast...circa 4 days. No gst or duty so far for me, touch wood! I've kept my packages under $400 NZD in total, that might...

Looks like a minter... But $27k ?!
He must have seen that one on EBay a month back.
For $27k I'd want at least a cert for the L20b and brakes...

Re: SMP's 1972 1200 Coupe
Maybe a swap for your trick head Mathew!
Sorry mate, it's in storage now as I want the ability to freshen it up and chuck it back in. Future proof resale etc
Let us know how you get on with that buggy motor once it's in your coupe man.

To Ramflo or not to Ramflo
Just bolted in A15 came with stock carby with a small Ramflo on the top. Sounds pretty good when I floor it and give it some herbs but for some reason I always understood Ramflo to be shit... Any thoughts on the matter?? Happy to be convinced otherwise. I know it ain't twin sidies or anything, just ...

FS: Datsun A series extractors
Datto A series extractors Off an A15 apparently, may fit A12 or A14. Nice solid set, chrome with a 2" ID flange fitted. Were a bit tight to fit my 1200 coupe with A15...could fit with a bit of heat to move pipes away from idler. Had another set that ended up slipping right in. Asking what I pai...

Re: SMP's 1972 1200 Coupe
Took one of the wires originally destined for the reverse switch and presto, 12v switched to ignition. Jiggied up to the anti dieseling solenoid and tested to see if the pin was still in there..yup. Started first time! Was definitely the reason for the rough idle : ) Adjusted the idle mix and speed ...

Re: Top 510 build - interesting read
Interesting car... What's up with the undersealing failing already? Mechanically a stunner but she wouldn't last long in the NZ climate eh. I think the $$ should be put into the context of $200k being spent on VW kombis... Baby boomers with some cash to burn... Investment, or just buying the memorie...

Re: SMP's 1972 1200 Coupe
Sorted a few things out last week and now the A15 and 5 speed are in and running...yewww  Was fun figuring out what to do with the reverse switch boss. Ended up being a double team approach- used the pitroad supplied hex set screw (M14 fine thread if you're interested : ). Turned out this wasn...
