anyone bought that green 1600 yet? I took it for a spin on Saturday morning...has a reasonable L18 and 5 speed...possibly overheating issue though as it got pretty hot in the short drive I took. Gearbox was solid though. Drove tight, but the brakes were totally shot...had a booster, but no bite. Unf...

Is there a post-72 alternator mount for L/h side? A15 r/h side mount specific to a15 IMO.
First I've heard of it... Please tell.

Was hoping this thread would produce pearls of wisdom mate, so you'd be a great help if there a simpler option.

Yup, looking like the loom mods are the way to go. Dicked around with slotting the original mount, but in end, just too close to the water pipe for my liking and the adjustment bar was too short. A bit of dicing and splicing plus abit of extra cable to reach back to what looks like an external regul...
