Itd depend on the rim and brake caliper used to the absolute max you could push too. That said, Id say about 10inch rotor (254mm)

Personally i dont recommend widening alloy wheels via welding, as the composite of the alloy will never match 100% the weld, and will create a weak point in either the weld or the fusion point of the weld to parent material With 3 piece rims id look at finding some 3 piece blanks that can bee drille...

Seriously thinking, correction thought about for a full 5 secs about transplanting a awd vr6 twin turbo driveline, but came my my senses and gonna do mods (if any) from the datsun/nissan family of parts

Just trying to get it back on the road its a bit effy after previous owner atm, but ill have a look at costs to convert over to ball joint, definitely much easier to do(replace), i could do them asleep. Also need to think about how far i wanna go with the ute mods wise, as i have a full blown road l...

You could probably adapt a column shift box from a Z series powered early navara or 720. I'm sure some of them were column shift. Swap the bellhousing from an L series floor shift 71 series box, onto a coumn shift gearbox. Odds are the 620 linkages could be made to work. hmm, will have proper look ...

5 speed was only floor change as far as I am aware, but NZ new 620s only had J15 engines and later on the SD22 as well and 4 speed column change only. Cost would depend on sourcing engine and gearbox. L series can be quite hard to find now. Bugger, not keen on a modern upgrade, but if i have no cho...

Brought myself a 620 datto, had my fair lot of cars but this is my first vehicle which is a kingpin setup.
