Found this in my car- is it what I think it is?
I randomly found this under my passenger seat after a recent trip to Auckland, no idea where it came from. It LOOKS like something that could be used to pick a lock, and does in fact slot neatly into the lock.. but the weird thing is that nothing has gone missing from the car, nothing's been damaged...

FS: KYB and Monroe Shock Absorbers
1x KYB and 1x Monroe shock absorbers (see picture). Price is $80 for pair but can sell separate if desired for $40 ea. These came out of a lowered '78 Datsun 120Y Sedan, both measure 615mm from base to start of thread when fully extended or 640mm end to end. I would not recommend fitting these to th...

Re: Another weird electrical problem
Thanks Kane, it's all sorted now actually. They didnt exactly say as much but its sounds like what happened was they buggered up the plugs on the marker lights when they pulled off the fenders without disconnecting them first; the fuel gauge and water temp. were actually on a fuse that I had missed ...

Re: Another weird electrical problem
I'll try to get my hands on a voltmeter at work. They said when they put it back together the wires for the marker lamps on the fenders didnt reach, although to me it looks like they've plugged up the hole I had passed them through before which is why they wouldnt reach.. I'm thinking I'll hit them ...

Another weird electrical problem
So I got my car back from the panel beaters after an extended period of rust removal and drove it around for three days without any issues, then yesterday after I stalled it once getting it started the CHARGE light stayed on even though the car was running (and the lights were working etc), it went ...

Re: ATchernv - 120Y Sedan
Cheers. In terms of plans Im looking to do restoration type work to it; body, engine, interior need varying levels of TLC; I'll see where my funds take me :) At the moment I lurk around trademe, ebay and the forums looking for small things I can buy and collecting pictures of ideas for paint, seats ...

ATchernv - 120Y Sedan
Hi all, Been lurking around for a while so I thought I'd post a few pictures to document my Datsun ownership. For now this will likely be kinda dormant as Im finishing off study this year but hopefully next year will have more time, money and a garage to commit to restoring my 120y to some degree. G...
