Had a sunny for a good while now Greg, just not on here so much.

Dunno nzdatsun, do you have such items? Let's talk. :)

Re: 70's skyline wanted!!!

The one on Facebook was offers over 20k, not 20k. I last saw him offering it for 25k. Had some weird two tone paint job too. Sooooooooo much better all one colour. A 240k is your only hope the 2000gt is a JDM model. Join the queue of people paying crazy money for these. It's only taken 5 years for n...

Re: Trademe/Yahoo Japan Auctions

With the price of 510's in NZ getting pretty stratospheric lately this 68 Bluebird SSS sedan in Japan looks like a bargain. Even with the import fees etc you definitely couldn't build one this nice for the same money here! http://yahoo.aleado.com/lot?auctionID=m152930927" onclick="window....

Re: WTB datsun 240K parts

Having stripped two of these to almost nut+bolt and rebuilding the one above (myself) back to almost complete; I know a thing or two. I had to source parts for mine worldwide and also sold parts for 240Ks worldwide in Japan, UAE, UK, US, Australia. Mine was 100% complete, decent amount of spares, an...

Re: WTB datsun 240K parts

I can honestly say you will have to stick with what you have. It would be a miracle to find someone with spare doors or guards in NZ. Those stainless eyebrow trims of which you speak of fetch hundreds of dollars each, with just the stainless trim parts you need I would not expect you to get change f...

Re: SMP's 1972 1200 Coupe

Wow that is tidy! Same colour as my old Gx coupe that grant owns and cares for.

Those wheels have to be +12 rather than - 12, no where near enough dish for negative offset and neg offset would be well outside the fenders of a 1200.

Looking forward to seeing more

Re: blitzballas pit of money and happiness (Sunny Coupe)

Not bumper related, nice project. Must be only coupe bumpers like that, the whole end cap is plastic on sedans.

I'm curious as to how you were going to get a h165 into a h150 housing in a sunny anyway? Were you going to use whole 165 diff and remove leaf spring setup?

Re: 510 wagon

I looked at a white wagon in Palmerston North about 13 years ago but decided among other things it was too scruffy. I was looking for a work wagon to replace a very tired 910. Dug deep and bought a Stagea RS4. Apart for its in love of petrol it has been a brilliant work house for over 12 years. Com...
