me josh brendan and bede did all we could,(also bert all day friday) but ultimately my painter fucked me round.

no ute for nationals as i have no panels. life is full of dissapointment. but hey...... theres always next year.

have the ute back.

THE UTE IS PAINTED. well, the bare shell is. hoping for panels this week. 7yrs on the last 1200 resto...... recreated in 7 days hopefully. while many shortcuts wont be taken, some parts wont get painted, certain trim may be missing on akaroa arrival, no hope for the front lip to be done in this time...

engine bay is painted! most of the rest of the ute is blocked back and ready for paint.....

tried the 13'' set over big brakes and its a no go. will see how this plays out.

NZ Datsun Club Dyno Day! Saturday 6th October starting around 8.30am ish at a guess. Hub dyno setup, so double check those wheel nuts afterwards! dont do a luke. Location is something Bart will tell me about tonight. chch based though. $80 cash per car, datsuns have priority but depending on numbers...

phils rotary parts based in aussie are great, and a lot cheaper than datsport. in my experiences anyway. dont let the name put you off. they are really onto it.
